Editorial Review for Martini's – by Jennifer Blaise

In Short
Colorful cube chairs, chic glass paneling and plasma-screen TVs all catch the eye with their modern, Jetson-esque look. The crowd--mostly tourists staying at the hotel--doesn't quite match the hipper-than-thou decor. The stylish setting makes for an ideal spot to unwind after work or chat with friends over cocktails. True to its name, the bar boasts more than 250 varieties of martini. The rotating menu of specialty and standard drinks features 10 favorites each month.

Insider Tips

Save Money

Enjoy half-off appetizers with your cocktail daily from 4pm to 7pm.

Where to Sit

Steal a seat by the window to watch the world go by along Nicollet Mall.

Look Good

Have an aperitif here while waiting for your table at the popular (and crowded) Oceanaire or Manny's Steakhouse, both right across the street.

As a guest of The Millennium Hotel 2-3 times a year, it's great to be remembered and to see the same staff. A great place to meet friends before starting out for the evening. The staff is friendly and willing to assist if there may be a problem in another section of hotel. The one bartender assisted twice now when my room was not refreshed on a Sunday.......getting the problem resolved. The drinks are great and the bar has good accoustics for conversation. I very much feel welcome and at home. Thanks, Mark

Pros: great staff, generous drinks, convenience

I droped the women off at Orchestra Hall and parked the auto at the Millenium where we were staying the night. Managed to stop at Martini's for a wonderful drink and a little chatter before racing past the Hollidazzle parade in order to make the concert. That was last year, this year we will get to the Millenium earlier and both enjoy a Martini! Wish they were open late!

Pros: convenient, good drinks, modern

Cons: closes early, can be crowded, a little pricey
