NBA City Restaurant

NBA City is a complete dining and entertainment experience!

  • Desserts made from scratch
  • NBA City at the Target Center
  • Signature Entree Selections

NBA City's second restaurant was opened in February of 2006 in the Target Center Arena home of the Minnesota Timberwolves in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The restaurants menu features a delicious mix of fresh and high-quality American cuisine-including grilled steaks, hamburgers, fresh pastas, brick oven pizzas, salads, and sandwiches.

All of the desserts are made from scratch and are sure to please anyone's sweet tooth.

Dine in a luxury box setting while you watch our exclusive programming created by the NBA, shop the retail store, and test your basketball skills.

You will not find hot dogs and popcorn at NBA City as our Chefs take great pride in producing fresh high quality dishes that are slightly upscale and continue to distance itself from the general perception of a sports bar menu.

NBA City also includes the most popular happy hour in Minneapolis!

Editorial Review for NBA City Restaurant – by Donna Tabbert Long

In Short
Practice free-throw skills and pick up NBA merchandise at this basketball-themed eatery (including menu covers that feel like a real basketball). The fare is notches above the standard pub grub featuring walleye tacos, Philly cheese sandwiches and brick oven pizzas. A relaxed group of pre-gamers gather in the Courtside Bar, located behind the players' arena entrance, to watch the team head to the court. Those without tickets can see the game on state-of-the-art LCD TVs.

I really don't understand why an NBA Rest is in MN when this is clearly NOT a basketball state. The employee's are not knowledgable about the game, service was pretty poor, food is expensive not to mention the parking. The Restaurant is empty minus a few times when big games are on but it's not a fun atmosphere. The worst part is how can you watch a playoff game WITHOUT big screen t.v's. When yout sit you have to move around and position yourself to see a t.v. Those little itty bitty t.v.'s they plaster on the wall can barely be seen. The crew is not friendly..this is a sporting environment it's supposed to be Fun, Loud, Crazy!! When i call for information about possible parties no one knows anything and they tell me to call back in the morning lol.

Pros: none

Cons: parking, NO BIG SCREEN T.V'S, service is bad not friendly, empty most of the time.

Hi, my wife and I came in on 10/21/07 with our kids to watch the Hannah Montana concert! We had a blast. The food was great the service was great. They definitely seemed prepared to handle a big crowd! We had a very friendly server named Jody! The only downside was there seemed to be alot of Bears fans in the house! Although, more than adequate choices for us to see what we wanted to see on tv! There seemed to be managers on the floor, one specific very accommodating gentleman was I believed named Dan, short hair and very concerned with our satisfaction! They even have a little shop and a place to take 3d photos with yourself in the picture! My son loved that aspect!. I do believe this would be a fun place to go even outside of a big concert day! Thanks! Rich. B

Pros: Ambience! Selection of TVS to watch! Food! People!

Cons: Parking. Busy during event days!

Located inside the Target Center, this basketball-themed eatery mixes entertainment with a satisfyingly non-traditional sports bar menu.  See the full editorial review.
