Over the past year I've been looking for a stylist because my past stylist retired. I thought I'd check out "526" which is just around the corner from my new place. I made sure I went to an experienced person, Kristal. I thought I was in good hands. Don't get me wrong, Kristal was very nice, pleasant, I thought she understood what I wanted, the "Jennifer Aniston" color, highlights... caramels, honeys... "natural" highlights. I get this look all the time. After highlights/color went on I was set under the "heater". She said when it turns off I'll still need to sit for a while, she never checked on me once (she was busy cutting another customer's hair) finally she came to wash it out & then she said she needed to go get "toner???" or something to work around the edges. We went back to her chair and I saw brown hair with bright white highlights staring back at me, she started doing the cut (a graduated, textured bob). Eventually I stopped her & said I had a pit in my stomach about my "grey" highlights, she said maybe I just think it looks like that because the color is darker than before & it stands out!! She tells me it doesn't matter how long highlights are developing. Wrong! She tried to fix it, so now I'm strawberry blonde with some highlights that have a greenish hue. I said I think I'm just going to have to start all over, she wasn't even going to blowdry me OR finish my cut until I asked. Now the salon has closed & her family is waiting, so do you think I got the cut I wanted? hardly. She said I can call this week to come in & she or someone else can work on making it right, needless to say I still walked out of there paying $125 plus tip.. she "comped" the color. The stylist had way too many things on her plate, was 15 min. behind schedule when she got to me & did not listen at all to what I wanted & then tried to act like nothing was wrong with it??? Awful. P.S. I did get a wonderful facial earlier in the day with Amanda, absolutely wonderful!

Generally an average salon however some of the stylists are very rude. My friends had an awful experience getting their updos for a wedding and were really disappointed with the service.
Pros: Cute decor
Cons: Cost of updos, some unprofessional staff members, parking
