I told the person on the phone that there wasnt anyone I normally see there... so she got me an appointment with "Miss Amber" (I think its really cute how they call eachother Miss...) I trusted her cuz of the shining reviews I read but after loosing (kind of literally) the stylist who was everything I ever wanted and more I was apprehensive.. Buy the way.. I got an eyebrow wax too by the head waxer lady... it was awesome. My brows look really really good. Not like a frumpy mess anymore. It was really relaxing too.. As far as the haircutc... first I was sat down for a onsultation... and man my hair needed help. I was thankful that she was blunt about it but still nice at the same time. She suggested a deep conditioner whic I got and my hair feels a lot better... so all that happened and she was really fun. It was nice that she actually cared and took her time. Even though I didnt understand some of the stuff she was saying about the numbers of hair dye and stuff like that...haha. I knew I was in good hands. I really appreciated that she worked on me without any hesitations during her lunch break. The lady with the bleach blonde hair gave me a heavenly hand massage.. everyone there is just really fun.. its a fun atmosphere and quality service without the pretentiousness of an upscale salon. I was impressed how she knew what my hair needed and what it could handle and explained to me thoroughly why a toner works better than bleach.. or was it a tint? Either way the cut and color both turned out fabulous and the nasty blonde that was in my hair is now gone, thank God. Lastly, I had my senior pictures and thanks to my hair they turned out fab. The photographer said I should be a model and i know it wouldnt have been said with my old hair. By the way, the name of the review comes from what she called the magazines she brought me. Hahaha. My mom also got a great haircut by a girl with short like auburn colored hair, it looked great!

Had my first visit awhile ago, staff was very friendly. My hairstylist listened very carefully to what I wanted and was very concerned in making sure I was pleased. I really appreciated this as this was my first visit and I was very nervous after losing my past hair stylist after 15 years. The one suggestion I have, is for the receptionist staff to screen the calls better to make sure the client is getting the stylist that best matches his or her needs. I have ethnic hair and requested someone with a lot of experience and also experience in ethnic hair cutting and coloring. I do not feel I got a stylist who had the experience I requested. Also, I had scheduled my haircut and hair coloring appointments on two different days. For both appointments, my hair stylist ran short on time and I felt rushed to get out of there. Overall, my experience was good. Loved the extra touch of the foot soak while my hair color was being processsed. I just think I could have been more pleased with the outcome if I had been matched up with someone with more experience. I also agree with the previous comment, website needs a lot more work. It would be nice to see a picture of each stylist with their specialties and prices.
Pros: Parking lot, friendly service
Cons: Need to screen calls better especially for us pickier clients!
