The service was horrible. The server never asked if we were ready to order - we had to ask them to come over after 15 minutes of trying to get his attention because they were too busy talking amongst themselves. The appetizers we ordered were sitting waiting to get served, they sat there for about 5 minutes - we had to ask if that order was ours! The selection of wine was ok - but we thought everthing was a bit overpriced for what we received in return

Pros: appealing atmosphere

Cons: SERVICE

The service was horrible...Took 20 min to get our drinks, the water and pop did not come with ice and waiter never came to check on us (so we could complain about the food). We had the 3 course meal for $35.00. The salad was served on a tea cup saucer with just lettuce and two drops of dressing. The Rissotto tasted like Rice a Roni, except mushy. The tenderlion was exteremely under cooked! The cheesecake was pulled out of a box practically in front of us and it was still frozen when served to us. Don't waste your money!

Pros: Cute Place

Cons: Horrible Food and Service

We had an awesome time down there. Not sure why people are so uptight??? Do they ever think to ask for some one in charge if they are having a poor time???

Pros: Food service ambience

Cons: Close before 1 on weekdays

I am working here for the summer and like to eat somewhere different as often as possible. I went to this place because I read the reviews on the good food. Well I spent $50.00 and the food was very low quality for the price. I had the grilled chicken with couscous and the turtle cheesecake. The wine was o.k. but overpriced also. I shouldn't have paid more than $25.00 for my meal for 1. I would not go back again. The service was good but it was a very slow Friday night.

Pros: nice lighting

Cons: seating is uncomfortable and food is very low quality. Anyone could make this at home.

While the wine selection is good, the food was bad. Absolutely nothing good to say or to recommend the food. Service is just mediocre. Nice decor, though.

I hang out here sometimes with my friends on weekday evenings. Spill the Wine has a really chill atmosphere. The staff are easy going so you don't feel you have to be in a hurry to get in and get out or whatever and they generally have good recommendations on new stuff to try out. Their wine selection is totally fantastic too. Definitely a great place to hang out and enjoy a wine with friends.

Pros: wine, service, atmosphere

Cons: parking can be tricky -- the cheap meter spots tend to be the best bet

I attended their Mother's Day brunch and left very dissapointed and ripped off. The food was cold and mediocre - bland eggs, hard croissants and cold potatoes. Selection was very limited. I am especially irritated I paid 9 bucks for the worst sparkling wine I have every tasted. HInt - please filter your water. It tastes disgusting. We got stuck in the back room away from all the atmosphere even though we made reservations weeks in advance. I would not recommend this place.

Cons: Value

We decided to visit Spill the Wine for Mothers Day brunch because I'm always game for trying something new. We were seated right away, but from there it went down hill. It took well over 10 minutes for us to get silverware and the service overall was incredibly slow. They had long lines for the self serve buffet and the first two times we went up the french toast was completely wiped out with no sign of more coming out. They served the basics...french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, ham and it was "ok" at best. They had another line with salad, breads and a few kinds of bars which were all awful. They also had made to order omelettes which took a long time to get and I couldn't even eat mine. The prices were really good but the bad service, mediocre food and inability to manage the influx of people at the buffet was a downer. Mothers were also supposed to get Gerberer Daisies and my mother-in-law and I didn't get one offered to us. We won't go there again.

Pros: pricing

Cons: service, food

Walking into Spill the wine reminds me of a minimalistic approach to a great place to hang out and drink. Great wines... the people we were with are semi regulars and have seen the wine list change a couple of times and it just gets better and better as they keep going back over and over. We really enjoyed the food it was perfect. Steak had just enough mushrooms to keep you wanting nothing but the next bite. The "lounge" as the people there call it was even more inviting. We will be there next timeand do more drinking and eating. Hardwood floors vaulted ceilings modern art work from local artists whats not to like. See you at Spill the wine. Thanks for the great time.

Pros: Everything
