Stillwater Antiques used to be a shop that I visited several times a month, as it had a wide variety of dealers with a varied selection of items. Unfortunately, there has been a general decline of all shops in Stillwater; this shop has suffered more than most. A number of excellent vendors are no longer there and the variety of merchandise has decreased. Over the past 10 years, some of the best buys anywhere I've ever made were here. Unfortuantely, I've purchased almost nothing there in the last 6 months.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Limited selection. Prices.

This store alone has more than most places I've visited although the quality lacks in some of the booths. Prices are a bit high because Stillwater is a tourist trap and they hike up the prices on items. Unless you know the going rate for a piece, i would advise not buying in Stillwater. Unless you don't mind paying a little more, go for it. There are some stores that have good prices, not all are expensive. You just have to look. All of Stillwater is a antique trap and there are many stores to go through. Plan on spending a day in Stillwater and wear good walking shoes. Parking is hard to find later in the day.

Pros: large variety, many stores, decent finds

Cons: hard to find parking, can get crowded, can be expensive

Stillwater is a fun place to visit but I have found that the antiques are way over priced. It would probably be a good place to go if you are looking for something unusual, but I wouldn't shop there for most antiques. The parking is horrible. We have found that we have to get there early in the morning to find a parking place that is anywhere near downtown. There are several good restaurants and the river is beautiful so I guess I would recommend Stillwater for sight-seeing only.

Pros: variety

Cons: parking, expensive
